After years of restoration we now have a Boeing
Stearman bi-plane online for joy flights.
The Stearman was used by the US as a military
trainer during World War II.

Airborne Aviation competed in the 2008
National
Aerobatic Championships.
All pilots flew well and
of particular note was
our
instructor Jarrod who
placed third in
Intermediate
category.

New 2007 Model C182 Glass Cockit Online

VH-MJB recently arrived and is online for training
and hire. It is a 2007 model Cessna 182T is
nearly identical to the 2006 model .. the main
difference being the auto-pilot is integrated
with the glass cockpit.

First Flight for Pitts Model 12
9-Feb-2007
John Dall, a regular face around Airborne, flew his
Pitts Model 12 for the first time on 9 Feb 2007.
Construction on this project started in 1999 at
his hangar at Wedderburn, and it finally it took
to
the skies today landing at Camden.

John's aircraft (VH-JDZ) is #36 to fly worldwide,
and only the second in Australia.
It will be based
in our hangar while it is test
flown and tweaked
over coming
weeks. Be
