Tiger Moth Flights
Donning a leather flying cap and goggles, feeling the wind in your face, experience flying as it was back in the 1930's in an open-cockpit Tiger Moth vintage bi-plane!
As Sydney's premier joy flight operator we have a number of Tiger Moths in pristine condition available for scenic, aerobatic and formation flights in and around Sydney.
Donning a leather flying helmet and goggles ready for a flight of pure nostalgia, whether experiencing the thrill of aerobatics or simply flying high above the bustle of modern life, it is easy to imagine you are back in the 1930's.
A video of your experience recorded in high definition (HD) is available to purchased with a gift certificate or on the day of the flight.
Scenic Flights
Departing from Camden our scenic flights take in a views of the Blue Mountains and Warragamba Dam. On return to the airport you will fly along the the Nepean River at low level (500ft), pending clearance from air traffic control.
Extended flights lasting up to 2 hours discovering Sydney's beautiful beaches are also available - refer to Sydney Beaches section below.

Aerobatic Flights
Departing from Camden our aerobatic flights take in a views of the Blue Mountains and Warragamba Dam.
During your flight you will have the opportunity to experience various aerobatic manoeuvres. You will be in constant communication with your pilot who will ensure you are enjoying the experience and be explaining manoeuvres before they happen.
On return to the airport you will fly along the the Nepean River at low level (500ft), pending clearance from air traffic control.

Formation Flights
If you like the sound of our scenic or aerobatic flight offerings - why not share it with someone!
At Airborne Aviation we operate a number of Tiger Moths and other vintage aircraft. We are able to offer you the experience of two Tiger Moth bi-planes being flown in close formation on a scenic or aerobatic flight.
You will take-off and land side by side and with the exception of aerobatic manoeuvres you will fly in formation for the majority of the flight.
Differing tastes? You can mix and match flights - one aircraft can be booked for aerobatics, the other scenic - able to watch their formation partner go through the aerobatic manoeuvres.
All pricing is per aircraft.

Sydney Beaches Scenic Flights
Our Sydney Beaches flights are spectacular! They take in Sydney's beautiful
beaches just off the coast from heights as low as 500ft - just above than Sydney Heads.
The standard flight takes approximately 1.5 hours and goes as far north as Narrabeen. The extended flight takes approximately 2.0 hours and includes the Hawksbury River (Patonga) and Palm Beach. Both flights follow the coastline to just south of Stanwell Park with Wollongong in view.
The route is Camden, Prospect Reservoir, Parramatta, Hornsby, Patonga*, Palm Beach*, Narrabeen, Manly, The Heads, Bondi, Botany Bay, Cronulla, Stanwell Tops, Camden. Other sights within view include the Blue Mountains, Parramatta River, Olympic Park, Brisbane Waters*, Pittwater, Sydney Harbour, Sydney City, Royal National Park, Wollongong.
