Wartime navigator Fred Appleton visited Airborne Aviation for a tour and flight in a Tiger Moth to celebrate his 87th birthday
Mr Appleton is shown with his crew from RAF 179 Squadron and a Warwick bomber which he flew in during World War II.

Airborne Aircraft Used in Official Sydney NYE Activities
31 December 2006
As part of the New Years Eve celebrations on Sydney
Harbour
"Every Hour on the Hour" was introduced to
keep the crowds entertained
from midday onwards.
Airborne Aviation
were contracted to perform a low
level fly past of the Harbour Bridge with special approval
using 3 vintage bi-planes at 2pm.
Our aircraft were shown on the evening news, some
footage
was taken from one of the aircraft as well.

Narromine News - Focus On Aviation
May 2006
Airborne customer Bruce Hall featured on the
front page of Narromine News with company
aircraft VH-JKN.
Bruce presented the local aviation museum
with a camera lens and flying diary that
belonged to his late
father Vic Hall.
Vic was a
founding member of the Narromine Aero Club
and many of the photos featured in the museum
are those taken by Vic using the lens donated.

Australian Flying - On Tour in the Outback
November/December 2005
Shelly Ross, editor of Australian Flying, took one of
our current generation Cessna 182T's on a 43 hour
trip around outback Australia.
The nine page article features a number of photos
of our aircraft (VH-SRE) and the outback scenery.
Shelly enjoyed the speed, endurance, load carrying
ability and modern avionics on her Outback
adventure.

August 2005
On the front page of Aeroplane Magazine one of our
Tiger Moths was featured as part of the main prize
for a competition.
Interestingly enough the winner of this competition, as
draw by Aeroplane magazine, was one of our own
customers!

Stealth Movie - Three Airborne Aircraft Used
March 2004
Stealth is a big budget film (US $135m) that was partly filmed
in Australia.
Three Airborne Aviation aircraft (C172, C310, Citabria) were
used as as static props at Schofields Aedodrome during the
filming.

"I'd Do Anything!" TV Show
January 2004
One of our Cessna 172's featured on
a UK game show
called "I'd Do Anything".
In the show the contestant had to land the aircraft
with only verbal assistance to win a prize.
Sydney Weekender - Tiger Moth Flights
Late 90's..
Mike Whitney from Sydney Weekender went flying
in one of our vintage Tiger Moths.
For some time after the segment aired our Tiger
Moth
was seen during the introduction to the show
